The Q4 2024 edition of the ROYD Insight Newsletter marks the final release of our 27 issue newsletter that began in Q2 2018. With the purchase of Optimaxx by our friends at OSC Sales and the upcoming acquisition of TRACER and SMART UK distribution by Ox Tools, the ROYD Brand will cease operation. This issue provides a heartfelt look back at the last 15 years of the company history while also looking forward to the long road left in front of us.
New Products
TRACER continues to have a string of new products coming through the pipeline and will do for a long time to come. This includes a brand-new specialist lead sets including carbide, welders and soapstone leads. The end of the year will see the introduction of a new range of highlighter markers which are built to be ready for the worksite.
Q4 will see the debut of an entirely new kind of TRACER Product. We have long since specialised in high quality marking tools and construction markers, now we are adding a new range of accessories to this range. This includes two new holsters and a crayon marker holder. This marks an exciting new step
Further to this, we are also releasing our largest and most comprehensive marking sets to date. This includes a 5 PC set with a TRACER Pro Series alternative and a comprehensive 8 PC Marking set. Each set comes with a hardy nylon carry case.
Marketing News
The ROYD Marketing Team has followed through on two campaigns. The first was the completion of our long running SMART video series, 101 Uses for a Multi-Tool, that returned with a new location and presenter. Moreover, we ran an exciting social media campaign where some of our influencers and a select few prize winners were awarded personalised TRACER Pro Series Pencils.
Packaging Awards
To see us into the sunset, our team have been celebrating two award nominations for our overhauled packaging designs. Both the SMART Made in Britain 8 PC Blade set and the Optimaxx Maxxtub were nominated.
